You must be at least 13 years old to use Shootbox. By accessing or using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you accept these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, you may not use the app.
Shootbox is a daily photography prompt app. Each day, one prompt is published. Users respond with a single photo. Those photos are shared in a community feed. The goal is creative consistency, not perfection.
You retain ownership of any photos you submit. By posting to Shootbox, you grant Shoebox Collective a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display your content within the app and in promotional materials related to Shootbox. You are solely responsible for what you post. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.
The following content is strictly prohibited:
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
You may block any user from their profile. Blocking prevents that user from seeing your content in the community feed and removes them from your followers. Blocks can be reversed at any time from your profile settings.
You may report content or accounts that appear to violate these terms using the in-app report button. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, who will take appropriate action.
To help maintain community standards, photos submitted to Shootbox are temporarily transmitted to OpenAI’s moderation API for automated content review. This is done to detect violations of our community standards before your photo is shown to other users.
Images are not stored by Shootbox for AI training purposes. OpenAI’s own data retention and privacy policies apply to any data processed through their API. For more information, see openai.com/policies.
Shoebox Collective reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms, at our discretion. Our team may access submitted content solely for the purpose of reviewing reports and enforcing these terms. Suspended users may submit an appeal through the app. We review all appeals but cannot guarantee reinstatement.
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your photos, likes, follows, and personal data will be permanently removed from our servers and from Cloudflare R2 storage within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Shootbox after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
