One prompt. One photo. Every day.

Photography
with a little more
intention.

Shootbox is a daily iPhone app for photographers who want a creative prompt, a clear deadline, and a community built around recent submissions from other users.

How it works

A smaller loop on purpose.

The app stays deliberately narrow: one shared prompt, one submitted image, one day to respond. That constraint is the feature, not a limitation.

01

Get the prompt

Every day begins with the same prompt for everyone, presented on a simple ticket-style card.

02

Submit one photo

You have until midnight to answer it. One image keeps the process focused and avoids overthinking.

03

See everyone’s take

The community feed shows photos from the last 7 days across all users in a random order, so you get a broader look at recent submissions.

Inside the app

Built to feel focused, not loud.

Shootbox keeps the interface out of the way. No crowded social layer, no built-in editing detour, no algorithm trying to decide what matters.

  • 7-day community feed No algorithmic ranking. The community feed shows photos from the last 7 days across all users in a random order.
  • Likes, not comment threads Enough social feedback to keep it alive, without turning everything into chatter.
  • Profiles that become an archive Your streak and submissions stack into a visual history of showing up.
  • Following feed stays recent too The following feed shows photos from people you follow from the last 7 days, also in a random order.
